I am now the proud owner of a another pair of real "Aussie" shoes.
The cold winter made me react and I can call the above original EMU boots from Australia with filled Australian sheep wool my own.
After searching in the internet for a few days I finally found them for a reasonable price of Eur 123,- (incl. shipping) on Amazon UK. In Germany they would have cost nearly twice as much.
They are really warm and there is still enough snow and ice here so I can wear them. They are watrerproof too - so I can also wear them when it is raining outside.
As a birthday gift have received already these from my brother and sister in law living in "down under" (see picture on the right).
So I think I should be set for warm feet in and outside the apartment........
